Payment Policy

All fees are due at the time of your session. Some services require a deposit to hold your spot. All services are private‑pay, and we are happy to provide a superbill upon request for potential out‑of‑network reimbursement through your insurance provider.  If you have any questions about coverage, billing, or what to expect, you are always highly encouraged and more than welcome to ask — we are here to make the process as clear, comfortable, and supportive as possible.

Good Faith Estimate of Costs

You are entitled to receive a Good Faith Estimate that shows the costs of items and services that are reasonably expected for your health care needs for an item or service. The estimate is based on information known at the time the estimate was created. The Good Faith Estimate does not include any unknown or unexpected costs that may arise during treatment. You could be charged more if complications or special circumstances occur. If this happens, federal law allows you to dispute (appeal) the bill. If you are billed for more than this Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill. You may contact the health care provider or facility listed to let them know the billed charges are higher than the Good Faith Estimate. You can ask them to update the bill to match the Good Faith Estimate, ask to negotiate the bill, or ask if there is financial assistance available. You may also start a dispute resolution process with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). If you choose to use the dispute resolution process, you must start the dispute process within 120 calendar days (about 4 months) of the date on the original bill. There is a $25 fee to use the dispute process. If the agency reviewing your dispute agrees with you, you will have to pay the price on this Good Faith Estimate. If the agency disagrees with you and agrees with the health care provider or facility, you will have to pay the higher amount. To learn more and get a form to start the process, go to www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 368-1019. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate or the dispute process, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 368-1019. When you receive a copy of your GFE, keep a copy in a safe place or take pictures of it. You may need it if you are billed a higher amount.

BIPOC Discount

We offer a 25% off BIPOC discount that applies to all evaluations offered. If you identify as BIPOC and would like to use this discount, just let your clinician know before your appointment.

Why private‑pay matters

  • Private-pay allows you to choose who knows your diagnosis, while insurance requires submitting a diagnosis to justify payment.

  • Private‑pay means you decide whether it enters your medical record.

  • With private-pay, your diagnostic information stays private.

  • Private‑pay keeps your information in your hands.

  • Private-pay also relieves insurance-based restrictions on testing.

    • Insurance often limits:

      • how much time is invested in an assessment

      • which tests can be used

      • how many conditions can be evaluated

      • whether trauma can be integrated

      • whether Autism + ADHD can be assessed together

      • Whether your lived experience is centered

      • Customization such as a full, personalized NeuroMap™

Our assessment
is different...

  • Insurance companies often keep records that can be visible to future insurers or providers.

  • Insurance companies often require strict “medical necessity,” which often ignores

    • masking

    • trauma interaction

    • sensory needs

    • gendered expectations

    • burnout cycles

  • Insurance‑based reports are often short and clinical

  • Private‑pay allows for:

  1. strengths‑based insights

  2. sensory profile

  3. executive functioning map

  4. trauma interaction pattern

  5. identity‑affirming interpretation

  6. personalized recommendations

FAQ — Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to know what I’m being assessed for before I book?

No. Many clients come in uncertain whether their experience aligns with ADHD, Autism, AuDHD, OCD, PTSD, or something else entirely. You don’t need to know the answer before you begin. During our initial intake process, we will do an overview of any ND traits or post‑traumatic patterns you are dealing with, and co-create an evaluation path tailored to your specific lived experience. You don't have to self-diagnose or fit neatly into a box to get started; we guide you through the process step-by-step so you walk away with clearer diagnostic clarity and your custom NeuroMap™.

What if I’ve been dismissed or misdiagnosed in the past?

You’re not alone. Many late‑identified adults were overlooked because they masked, adapted, or were perceived through gendered expectations. This assessment is designed to honor your lived experience, not invalidate it.

Will this assessment feel overwhelming?

The process is paced for your nervous system. You’ll have structure, guidance, and breaks as needed. Everything is trauma‑informed, neurodivergent‑affirming, and designed to reduce pressure.

Can trauma impact how ADHD or Autism show up?

Absolutely. Trauma can shape masking, emotional regulation, sensory responses, and burnout patterns. Your assessment integrates trauma context rather than strictly separating it from your neurodivergence.

Will I get a diagnosis I can use for accommodations?

Yes. You’ll receive a comprehensive written report that can be used for workplace accommodations, academic support, referrals, medication, and next steps.

What if I’m afraid of being “wrong” about my neurodivergence?

There is no “wrong.” Many adults spend years doubting themselves because their traits didn’t match stereotypes. Your assessment explores your patterns with curiosity, compassion, and clinical accuracy.

Do you assess AuDHD?

Yes. While AuDHD is not a formal diagnosis in the DSM‑5, many people use the term to describe the dual diagnosis of Autism and ADHD. If you choose to add an Autism assessment to your ADHD evaluation, your final report will include a detailed section recognizing your autistic traits and comparing them with ADHD‑related patterns that may overlap. AuDHD is frequently missed or misunderstood, especially in late‑identified adults. Your evaluation will help clarify both the overlap and the distinctions between autistic traits and ADHD patterns — including sensory‑driven executive dysfunction, emotional intensity, and burnout cycles — so you can understand your neurotype with accuracy and confidence.

Will this go on my permanent medical record?

Not unless you choose to share it. Because this is private‑pay, your diagnostic information stays in your hands. You decide who sees it and how it’s used.

What if I’m nervous about the interview?

That’s completely normal. The interview is conversational, supportive, and paced gently. You don’t need to perform, mask, or “get it right.” You just get to be yourself.

What if I’ve already been diagnosed but want more clarity?

You’re welcome here. Many clients come in with partial diagnoses, outdated evaluations, or reports that didn’t reflect their lived experience. NeuroMap™ gives you the full picture.

Client Experiences

I was previously diagnosed at a doctor's office with Bipolar Disorder but my ADHD went undetected until I came here. I knew something was off but did not know why. It was nice to know the whole story so I could get the proper help. She even advocated for my needs when talking to my psychiatrist when I needed her to!
